Thanksgiving

This past week we celebrated thanksgiving in America. Thanksgiving always occurs on a Thursday near the end of November. Thanksgiving is a Holiday were people give "thanks. Thanksgiving was started by the Pilgrims and American settlers in the 1600's and is still a very important holiday today. My favorite part of thanksgiving is the food we eat. The foods at my families' Thanksgiving feast include: Turkey, ham, stuffing, corn, rolls, apple pie, pumpkin pie, and punch to drink. Do you celebrate Thanksgiving in Spain? Or anything similar to it? If so how do you celebrate?

Chestnut festival

Three weeks ago, we celebrate the "chestnut festival", we celebrate this festival eating chestnuts and sweet potato. In this festival, is typical that the chestnuts womans sold chestnuts in the street. We celebrate chestnut festival as you celebrating Halloween, although here also celebrated Halloween.
